Liberty and Libations: Revolutionary Cider Pressing

Liberty and Libations: Revolutionary Cider Pressing In-Person

Join us at the Carpenter Museum September 27th for a cider press demonstration followed by a lecture on apple cider making and a tasting! Learn about one of the most popular drinks during the American Revolution as we continue to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of our Nation’s independence.

A family friendly press demonstration will take place at 11:30AM at the Carpenter Museum. Spencer Morris from Sowams Cider Works is a professional cider maker with years of experience. He will bring an apple pressing right to the museum lawn! Afterwards join us for a 21+ only lecture and sampling of hard apple cider. Light refreshments will also be served. This event is free for members of the Rehoboth Antiquarian Society and $5 for non-members. Pre-registration is appreciated but not required. To register online go to our event page below, call the museum at (508)252-3031 or email at carpentermuseum@gmail.com
